Camping at Canyon Creek

We went to a campground called Canyon Creek with Grandma and Grandpa Hill and had a great time. We went for walks with Grandma...We had a few photo shoots around the beautiful scenery...
We got to go swimming in the pool twice and played on the playground lots. We even got grandma and grandpa on the swings...

Lots of quality fishing time unfortunately nothing to speak of was caught, better luck next time, river fishing is pretty hard.

Lavender

For Mother's Day mom bought us all tickets to go to the Lavender Fair at the Bayliss Farms in BIggs. It was a great day out for us all and very beautiful. See the lavender fields behind us.

Mother's Day

Grandma Kris got her stuff a week late while we were camping.

I got lots of really cool stuff including heartfelt poetry. The kids were very sweet!

The Hunters came home from a 10 day visit with the Collins and brought Morgan with them so Paij and Brent could move to CA.
Them coming home was probably my best mother's day gift. :) J/k

We had a very nice dinner in the dining room prepared by the men!

Quads

Jarom and Alyssa came to visit for a wedding that was cancelled so we went 4wheeling in the samuris, quad riding and three wheeler riding instead. Sorry your head was cut off Cypress, it was a timer.

Even Grandma went for a ride!

Easter, yea it was a while ago, give me a break

I got new cake decorating tips for my b-day so we made frosting in all colors and let all the kids have a stab at it. Not too bad. Also, my first attempts at fondant, we like the chocolate better than the white. That went well too, thanks to terry's muscles to roll it out.

We've started playing kickball every year with out BBQ but this year we decided not to play in the cow pies but at the pavilion. It was pretty fun.

The Easter bunny brought new swim suits and water shoes for all.

Cypress' basket was out on the couch in the playroom, she had a rather difficult time finding it but it's always worth it in the end.

Egg decorating was Very fun and we had some "moldy oldies" ideas, and some new fun ones.

This was at the park in Gridley for the annual real egg hunt put on by the lions. Tayla found a gold egg and won the bunny she is holding.

We went to the Hills Friday for their primary, candy filled egg hunt and to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa, It was lots of fun.

Just havin' fun January-March

Sunset from Glass Beach in Fort Bragg where we went alone for a 30th Birthday get away. It was amazing weather and beautiful beaches and great alone time. Thanks mom and dad for babysitting!

Cypress' class put on a Presidents Day show with Americana songs and cute hats and flags, they did very well.
We had a chocolate fountain for Valentine's Day. Everyone loved it but not as much as Kasen since he didn't have to even eat the fruit, he got to just dig in. Thanks Grandpa!

Our friend Alyssa had her Birthday party at a gym and the kids had a great time but I really think Terry had the best time of all. He showed the kids how it is done. He's always wanted free rage with a bouncy floor and foam pit! :)

We went to Stirling city to the snow for President's Day and mostly had fun. That is until Tayla got snow in her boots and had frozen toes. Terry was teaching kids how to snowboard. and we took turns on all the sleds and tabogans.
It was a gorgeous day!

The empty lot behind our house has a tulip tree and I just love them so I went to take some pictures of it and the girls went with me to we decided to have a little fun. They are beautiful! - the girls and the flowers! :)

As a reward for something ( i don't remember what) we bought the kids some ceramics to paint and they all had a great time, even Kasen.

Hershey Track Meet

Each year Gridley holds a track meet for the kids, they don't have practices or teams or anything, you just sign up and show up then you run your little heart out and come home with ribbons or medals for the first 7 placers in each age group. Both girls ran the 50 yard dash, the 100 yard dash, did the softball throw and ran the 4x100 relay. They each received one medal and 4 ribbons (one was just participation). They had a great time and did well.
