Trains

Behind our hotel was an old train that you can explore. Teenagers have trashed it some but it still looks cool outside.

The Santa Fe railroad is really big here.

Route 66

Terry has been in Kansas since the 2nd of Feb. I got to come out for the weekend to visit. Today we did a little exploring of the area. We found Route 66, drove on it, and found some fun pictures to take. It was great.This is a real tow truck that they put some paper eyes in the window and really made a pretty good Mater. It was sitting outside of a old gas station and tow company that is pictured next.

The "Mormon" bar, didn't you know we had one! :) Just kind of funny.

So we just got back from Utah that is my mom, two sisters myself and my four kids. It took us 11 hours to get there and 17 hours to get home. That part wasn't so pleasent but the rest was memorable enough that we can forget about that. We went because my cousin Tanner just got home from his mission to Peru and we went to hear his homecoming talk. Of course the only picture that I took of Tanner was with mom's camera so I don't even hae a picture of him.

This is my cousin Wendy and our babies, her Hayden is 16 mo. We are the same age and used to be best friends but we haven't seen each other for 6 years. It was a good time to catch up.

My sister Haylee (Right) and Bode and my cousin Jenna (Left) are the same age and used to hang out a ton too. It was fun to all be together.

This is Wendy's other little boy Anthony who is 4 days younger than Tyden but Tyden is 2 inches taller than he is. They had a great time running around together for hours.

Mom and Aunt Sheila are just as close as their kids. Mom really wanted to be there to help her with this big day and Sheila was sure glad she was there.

We ended the day visiting Grandma and Grandpa Hunter in the Springville Cemetary. Tayla is in the picture sitting by Grandma because her middle name is Gene which is Grandma's first name. I think is was a fun geneology lesson for the kids.

Visit with the Allens

The Allen are our good friends from Rexburg. Katherine's parents live in Utah and Nephi had to take some classes in Utah this week so they all came down on Sunday and we got to get together with them. It was very good to see them and to see how well our kids still played together.

When we moved they only had two kids and and Tyden was 6 mo old. Look at all 8 of them now!

Teancum is 6 mo older than Cypress but with her heals on, she's taller.

These two look so much alike! Brogan is 4 mo old and Kasen is 8 mo old. Both dang cute though!

Let it SNOW!

Don't you just love our three cute snowmen. I think they look like us.

We had a silly string fight while we were out in the snow. Then we used the string to decorate our snowmen and volcano.

Tyden was so cute but too cold to smile normal.

Cypress was the one that stayed in the snow longer than almost anyone. She had a great time and didn't mind the cold.

Breakfast for Dinner

Aunt Paij and Uncle Brent came over to our house and made dinner for Terry and I with the kids. We got some free time alone (we raced Mario Cart of course) and they got some good time to play with our kids so that would know them better since they live so far away. Tayla was the table setter and Tyden was the supervisor.

Cypress was Brent's helper with making the French Toast mix. It was a very nice meal (French toast, hash browns, OJ, and Bacon) and fun to have some alone time with the Collins.
