New School Pics

We had our now annual family photo shoot in serch of the perfect school pictures. This is what we felt were the best. Enjoy my darling babies!!

Tyden's 5th birthday

He likes super heros but didn't have a lot of choice on the theme of his party since I already had plates, cups and hats that were batman, but he was pretty happy with the way it turned out.

He got many great presents. Thanks to everyone who came and gave gifts and showed their support! We had a family dinner at the house first and then went to the park for gifts, cake, and to meet up with his friends to play.

And boy did they have fun playing!! We couldn't even keep Grandma and Uncle Jarom from joining in. It was a great, beautiful day!

Girls new room!

I bought stuff before summer to redo the girls room with the intention of doing it all summer but it just never worked out. We finally got it done today, well mostly done. The one wall you don't see isn't complete because it's missing a sticker that will play a big part so I'll post that one later when we get the sticker. They love it! Terry made the bed with minimal help from me. They actually have more furniture and more space. It's really great. The theme is sunset in case you weren't sure! :) The boys got their old beds as not bunkbeds so their room is being rearranged also but not done yet, keep checking for those updates too.

Soccer time!

This year Terry and I coached Tyden's soccer team, the Bulls (red). We got some good exercise and had a good time. We ended the season 4-1-1. Tyden wasn't the best player on the team but he did pretty well and had a good time.
This is our cute little team at our awards party.

I had to of course make cakes for our awards party. I soccer ball is much harder than you'd think but it turned out pretty good.

Cypress for Secretary!

Cypress was voted into the School Student Council by her class and then decided to run for Student Body Secretary. (yes she's only in 4th grade but the school only goes up to 5th.) She ran against 2 other students. She had to make a poster and stickers to pass out and give a speach (all memorized) at a school assembly and dance in front (as seen below) to be a good example to the other students. Then they voted, and SHE WON!! We are very proud of her!
