Misc. Fun

We decided to take a day and go to Mesa to the Temple.  It was a great day to be outside.  They have beautiful grounds and a nice visitor's center.  Terry and I took turns inside and with the kids outside.  Then we went to Bass Pro and Ikea before heading back home.
There were many weddings that day so we couldn't ever get a picture without people on the steps, oh well.
Cymber balancing on Terry's hand, sitting stage...stay tuned.

Kasen was bugging Grandma Kris and I while working on a project so we sent him outside to tie up Papa Jim, he did a pretty good job!  They had a great time playing together!
Cymber is loving her new swing!
And within 2 weeks, the standing stage.  She is so strong already.  3 months yesterday!

Kris was able to help me finish my Christmas project - a queen sized quilt for Trevor and Charmayne - better late than never :)  My first guilt!
The weather here is crazy.  We got from 80 to 60 and back at least once a week.  Today was a cold day.  This is the second time that it has hailed.  Last time the kids were at school and didn't see it so they were pretty fascinated by it.  If you look close, you see it all over the tramp.  The kids are standing under the porch with their hands in it.  They said it hurt a little. :)

Feeling Lucky??

We found some yummy St. Patricks cookies on pinterest that Kasen and I just had to make and share on Friday.  Then Saturday morning we all enjoyed a little color...

Actually a lot of color - rainbow waffels - another pin :)  And green milk of course.

We ended the day with some friends over for corned beef.  It was yummy!  Tyden's class was asked to make traps before spring break to try and catch a Leprechaun that had been messing up their class.  It was quite the joint effort but turned out pretty cute.

Hopefully the break won't be so long that he gets out before they go back to school, but we'll see...

2 months already!

So I have to skip ahead a little before I forget the statisics but I figured it was a good time so you can compare birth photos to now.  She is staying small and I'm sure glad.  She needs to stay small longer since we are done. :)  So... Cymber is 2 months and 12 days old and weighed in at 9 pounds 11.5 ounces.  She is 22 1/2 inches long and her head is 15 cm around.  She is in the 30th percentile for height and head and only the 5th for weight.  The doctor says she is proportioned right so he's not concerned.  Sad for her, she also had to get 3 shots and she was not impressed, notice the Band-Aids on each leg :(  Kasen was very concerned when she started screaming.  We've never heard her cry like that.  She was a trooper though and stopped almost immediately after I picked her up.

PHoto shoot

So Grandma and Aunt Paij helped me do a Cymber Photo Shoot.  It was very fun - of course when you have a beautiful star how could it not be :)  Any way, this first picture is to show just what a production it all is.  you have to have the background holders, the blow dryer holder (to keep her warm and asleep), the position person, and the photographer.  I think they turned out fabulous!

Gotta have the shots with the siblings and the ones in the bowl that belonged to Great, great Grandma Thorton.

New Years Eve!

Happy 2012,
May it bring you whatever you need!

We started off the evening with Jarom's B-day party - presents and cake.  Then we moved to a thrilling game of "Minute To Win It Family"and appetizers and ended with Fireworks at Trevors just after midnight.  It was a very pleasant evening for all of us.  That is, when you were the spectator, but it was rather intense when you were the one up for your team!Cypress and Nick in the balloon break
