Christmas Eve

Thank goodness for me the morning of Christmas Eve was pretty uneventful so we could rest.  Then we had appetizers around 4 and Dinner at 6.  Everyone did a part, even some of the men (shocking I know :) )

Unfortunately the Davis' left on the 23rd so Bode was gone but these 2 were inseparable, and aren't they cute!  They even got their own table for dinner and they loved it.

The kids at their table and Grandma and Grandpa.

 The Hunters and the Collins

After dinner was the Grinch.  We separated by Men - Women - Boys - and Girls

With the Davis' gone and Jaycee and Marcae too little to participate, the kid groups were very small but they didn't mind.  They are getting very patient in waiting for the story to be over.

Then on to the singing of the carols and of course Elvis by the men.  Uncle Brent always makes it fun!

Then everyone got on their new jamies and we watched the movie "The Nativity."  It's always a great way to end the evening on a spiritual note.  I didn't have any for Cymber because she wasn't supposed to be here but Tyden reminded me and made sure we went to the store to get her some.  They were dang cute :)

Then off to bed in the Playroom to dream sweet dreams and wait for Santa.  It was a big party :)

Progressive Dinner

Before Cymber was born, we had calendared the 22nd for a Girls Lunch out.  Since that ended up being the day we came home from the hospital, the girls brought lunch to us and we ate alone at our house.  We had Chinese and it was very nice to have company again.

We had to get our first picture of the "Hunter" Girls of 2011 and their moms.  Paij and 9 month old Jaycee, then Rachel and 5 month old Marcae, then Me and 4 day old Cymber.
Cymber sleeping in her basinet for the first time.  Aunt Tena and Aunt Brandie got to see and hold her for the first time.

Later that evening was the progressive dinner as scheduled.  'Hors-devours were done by Trevor and Charmayne.  Our kids went but I used it as a few minutes of down time and Terry was finishing dinner so there are no pictures.  Dinner was then at our house.  Terry did most of the work so I didn't have to.  He smoked some meat and we had a baked potato bar.

Every one had a good time.

Next we went to Moms and had dessert that Rachel made (chocolate moose), did the cousin gift exchange and acted out the Nativity story.

Everyone got fun gifts and enjoyed playing with them.  The play went well.  Rachel and Matt got to be Mary and Joseph but Cymber was baby Jesus.  The girls took their Angel roll very seriously :)

Coming home!

Cymber is ready to head home from the Hospital :)

Her sweet blanket from Grandma Michalene and her Hospital bear :)

Her very happy and anxious big sisters were fighting over who got to hold her first.
Grandma, Aunt Paij, Aunt Haylee and the kids decorated the house inside and out just for our arrival!
Kasen loves his little sister and loves being a big brother!!

Tyden wanted his turn but wasn't really as interested as the others.

More house

The master suite (I have to call it that because it has a double door entry) is now complete.
This is the only thing I have done in Cymber's room so far but I'm working on more today.  I've been waiting for the rails for the bed to come so I haven't been in a hurry.  Besides, she still sleeps in our room.

The kitchen and dining, including a bar, which I love!
More to come :)

Baby Shower!

Grandma Hunter and Aunt Paij threw us a fabulous baby shower.  We had a great turn out and tons of great treats - cake balls, sugar cookies, and raspberry lemonade bars.  The decor was - as you can see - over the top fabulous!  We saved some of it for Cymber's new room.

We played a fun memory game where many candy bars were the prizes.

She got many great gifts including this fun outfit from Trina and blanket made by Dawn.

The big girls were bored with presents so they moved to the other room and did hair and had a great time dancing around and goofing off :)
Thanks for a fabulous shower!!
