Hunters come to visit!

The Hunters came to visit for Easter and we are so excited!  The kids got Grandma on the tramp and that was pretty funny,  They had a good time jumping then we did some star gazing when it got darker.    

Talk about the center of attention :)  Grandma brought us Jaycee's Bumbo and Cymber loves it.

Then we were off to the Desert Museum.  We love taking everyone there.

Who says the desert doesn't have spring?  Most of the cacti bloom and they are quite pretty.  It was fun that it was when the Hunters were here to see it too.  Maybe they will come back :)

Grandpa rode in a wheel chair just as a procation for his health and the boys loved riding on his lap most of the time.  Terry sure got his exercise :)

Misc. Fun

 Tayla snuck off when it was over and I didn't get her picture alone (she is just below the teacher on the right of the stage).  Her awards were for Reading points and Perfect Attendance.  Cypress was the big winner, she got 4 awards.  She was the top reader in her class, on the Principal's Honor Roll (which means just A's), was Student of the Month for February and got over 90% on her benchmark tests.

My birthday!

Terry had to go into work early so he was long gone before I ever woke up, especially since it was spring break for the kids and I could actually sleep in!  So, Cypress gathered the troops and made me breakfast in bed.  She even made pancakes.  They all helped bring it in singing.  It was very sweet.

Terry had taken the kids shopping and they all picked out my gifts on their own and then wrapped them.  There were lots of sweet notes, a poem, nail stuff and cotton candy :)  The Hansens came over to play for most of the day, then we all went to dinner at Panda Express, one of my favorites!  Then we came home and had Cinnamon Roll Cake that Cypress made with only a little help from dad.  I got gift cards and money for clothes, a massage, and a pedicure.  It was a great day!

Hills visit!

 Papa Jim and Grandma Kris came to visit for almost a week and we all got to play tourist.  First we went to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (we have a membership and this was our second trip), then a few days later to Old Tucson Studios (where many western movies were filmed and are still filmed today) and lastly to the San Xaiver mission.  The weather was delightful, the sites very cool and the company, the best!
